[:es]No sabemos si el título de este artículo algún día será cierto o no, pero lo que sabemos es que diferentes sectores y diferentes empresas de software y automoción (TESLA, Apple, GOOGLE, GM, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Nissan, BMW y Renault) están apostando por el desarrollo de vehículos con conducción autónoma.
A la imagen, ya para algunos familiar, de coches piloto autónomos (https://youtu.be/uCezICQNgJU) circulando por algunas de las principales ciudades del mundo, hay que sumarle diferentes proyectos iniciados con tractores (http://wapo.st/1N0Jcj6 ), autobuses (http://noticias.coches.com/noticias-motor/siete-ciudades-que-apuestan-por-los-buses-autonomos/219498) y camiones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-xOEJb4LEU&feature=youtu.be ).
Este tipo de iniciativas, se verán apoyadas por los organismos oficiales, ya que las empresas tecnológicas pretenden construir un «robot» que tendrá mejores reflejos que un humano, no se cansará, no competirá con otros conductores, no beberá, será capaz de obtener información del entorno de manera más completa, se comunicará con los semáforos y contaminará menos. Parece ser que, el hecho de que ciertos tipos de vehículos circulen sin conductor, será viable en 5 años.
En el momento en que el coche se vea como un servicio (pedir un vehículo cuando se necesite y según las circunstancias: para ir a trabajar, a un evento, a una reunión o para hacer una mudanza) y no una propiedad, será cuando el sector de las ambulancias tomará relevancia y adecuará sus sistemas de seguridad, integración y comunicación, para adaptarse a lo que disponga la innovación, en nuestras vidas.
